À propos de l'événement

11:Eleven gallery is proud to collaborate with one of Baltimore’s most prolific curators; Thomas James, to present ‘If you’re here, you belong’ (IYHYB).

IYHYB explores the idea of cultural equity, where members of all cultures deserve the opportunity to have their unique cultural legacies and customs preserved and celebrated.

Whether mundane or spectacular, human experiences deserve recognition and support. This exhibition will focus mainly on artists living and working in the mid-atlantic region who create artwork representative of global cultures and will incorporate both 2D and 3D artworks.

Featuring artists from the DMV area, Indiana and Massachusetts IYHYB aims to amplify the voices of artists creating work that explores cultural heritage and histories of then and now.

With an exciting exhibition programme, this is 11:Eleven gallery’s first ever curatorial collaboration and we’re certain it is one you do not want to miss!
