À propos de l'événement

Hosted by one of New York’s premiere black Sommeliers, David Blackburn, 11:Eleven gallery is proud to present THE ART OF WINE TASTING (& INVESTING 101).

Similar to the ongoing conversation about how, when and why to invest in art, we will be discussing what makes wine age worthy, and whether these wines can and should be looked at as an investment.

The United States is known to be by far, the largest consumer of wine with an annual rate of 4.3 billion bottles purchased each year.  Most of us enjoy a nice glass (or bottle - no judgment!) of wine but do we actually know or understand the quality of what we are consuming and/or are we unwittingly drinking away a future cash cow?

Pulling three wines from some of the world's greatest wine growing regions, we will look at why these regions are perceived this way and why they are great regions to invest in. We will also discuss how simple it is to store wines for investment purposes too.

Join the fun as we explore wine through the lens of a collector.
