Sabiyha Prince

Sabiyha Prince is an anthropologist/visual artist whose paintings and digital collages have been exhibited at The Anacostia Arts Center, The Hill Center, Zenith Gallery, 11Eleven Gallery, and through Black Girls Who Paint and The Petworth Artist’s Collaborative.
As a former Educator and an activist, Prince’s push back against societal inequality is reflected in her artistic practice and her published work. She has authored two books and engaged in qualitative research in NYC and her native DC – doing work that inspires her to embrace a quest for beauty and justice in her painting and photography.
Prince’s media appearances include MSNBC, NPR, Al Jazeera English, Sirius XM, WHUR, WOL, WPFW, and WYPR.
