À propos de l'événement
This uplifting, but tongue-in-cheek exhibition is not your ordinary exhibit, it's a celebration of wit, laughter, joy, and creative genius right here in the heart of Washington, DC.
Laughter and gratitude are the 2 things that can instantly shift our moods to a frequency of joy and happiness. We can’t be laughing and upset at the exact same time. Have you tried it? It’s impossible and with the current culture being so easily offended by the smallest of things and society teetering on the edge of paranoia about offending others, it seems that we have forgotten the importance and joy that derives from one of the greatest emotional responses… laughter.
Influenced by a career in advertising, an appreciation for vintage art, and a 1950s vibe, WTF (Wow, That’s Funny), we invite you to laugh at some of the toxic traits you may recognize in yourselves, your insecurities, taboo subjects and some good old fashioned stereotypes all turned into comedic masterpieces.
"With all that’s going on in the world right now, Glenn Fry's 'WTF ('Wow, That’s Funny')’ is a breath of fresh air! It's an absolute delight to witness his unique ability to blend vintage art with a 1950s vibe and a hilarious twist. This exhibition will leave you in stitches and remind you of the beauty of laughter." - Nicola Charles, owner of 11:Eleven gallery.
Life is simply too short to take ourselves too seriously. So mark your calendars and join us for this extraordinary exhibition to experience the magic of laughter firsthand, you'll leave with a smile on your face and a lighter heart. Don't believe us? Give it a try and prepare to be amazed at how much better life feels when you fully embrace the power of laughter.
