WCMTL is a pseudonym for the emerging artist Canadian artist Will Raojenina. Born and raised in Montreal WCMTL discovered his love for art and at the age of 15, he began his career in fashion, designing and producing clothes which led to the name Willis Couture Montreal (WCMTL), a nickname which has stayed with him throughout the years.
WCMTL’s goal as an artist is to always inspire others with his work, and he realized from a young age that creating art to encourage others was his passion.
In today's chaotic world, it is extremely easy to get lost in the mayhem. Sometimes we need someone or something that can make us smile, clear our minds, and help us be resilient. WCMTL strives to accomplish this feeling for people around the world with his energetic and meaningful art.
Since the beginning of the 2020, WCMTL has used his work to inspire and positively motivate people. He states, “If you look at my art and it makes you smile, gets you lost in deep thoughts or takes you away from a negative state of mind, to an inspiring and motivating one, as an artist, I feel accomplished”.
As a young black man, WCMTL wants to ensure he is constantly pushing positivity and is concerned with doing something good for the community.
WCMTL enjoys producing experimental paintings. He created the “WCMTL texture” which is a mix of different media. WCMTL has built a loyal base of followers from around the world that have enjoyed and brought his positive artworks.
